If you are applying closer to holiday season ( which is Christmas, Easter or Summer Break ) universities take longer to get back as they are on holiday! Even though their websites say 2 to 4 weeks, during the holiday season it will take them longer to assess your application. If you apply during term time then the chances of you getting your offer within the 2 to 4 week window is higher!

Things to keep in mind when you do receive your offer is that some of your offers from universities come with conditions and deadlines. Popular programs tend to fill up faster and since there are limited seat students must ensure to take informed and timely decisions. If you have a conditional offer, make sure you fulfill your conditions and send the evidence back to the university before the deadline! If you have an unconditional offer you might need to accept and pay a deposit to secure your seat! These usually come with deadlines so that the university can make offers till the class is full!
